Sonography Atlas of Dogs
With international help from veterinaries, animal-clinics, authors and private persons we created the first sonography atlas in the world especially of dogs. We reached our first goal in a few months and want to thank all supporters of our project.
This atlas was created because of the situation we had at first: for our main-project, the research of a usable way of early screening for osteosarcoma in dogs with ultrasound, we couldn't find some collections of sonographic pictures of dogs. In the following time we corresponded with veterinaries and authors about this problem, and they thought in the same way like us: the need to create the first atlas about ultasound pictures of dogs.
For a better use, we classified this theme in categories and subcategories in the order of the anatomic body-regions of dogs.
On the left side of every page you find the pictures, by clicking on them the most pictures could be enlarged. On the right side you will find the original explanation from the author of the picture and its source.
Actually our atlas contains 810 images and 36 videos.
Sonographie-Atlas von Hunden
Mit internationaler Unterstützung von Veterinären, tierärztlichen Kliniken und Autoren erschufen wir den weltweit ersten Sonographie-Atlas speziell von Hunden. Wir erreichten dieses erste Ziel innerhalb weniger Monate und möchten uns an dieser Stelle bei allen Unterstützern unseres Projektes bedanken.
Der Atlas entstand auf Grund der Situation, vor der wir uns anfangs befanden: für unser Hauptprojekt, eine anwendbare Methode zur Früherkennung von Osteosarkomen beim Hund mit Hilfe von Ultraschall zu entwickeln, konnten wir keinerlei sonographische Bildsammlungen von Hunden finden. In der Folgezeit korrespondierten wir mit Tierärzten und Autoren, und sie dachten in gleicher Weise wie wir: der Notwendigkeit, den ersten Atlas über Ultraschall-Bilder von Hunden zu erstellen.
Zum besseren Gebrauch haben wir das Thema in Kategorien und Unterkategorien in Anordnung der anatomischen Körperregionen des Hundes unterteilt. Auf der jeweils linken Seite finden sie die Bilder, wenn man darauf klickt, lassen sich die Meisten davon vergrössern. Auf der rechten Seite finden Sie die Original-Erläuterung des Autors und dessen Quelle.
Aktuell umfasst unser Atlas 810 Abbildungen und 36 Videos.

By the time we created a link-directory especially for dog owners to inform themselfes about osteosarcoma and its treatment, veterinary institutions and organizations.
A very important linklist is our collection about oncological clinics for dogs all over the world. Every link was tested and is recently active.
Our goal was to support dog owners on their search for fast help in the case of diagnosis of OSA in their dogs.

Mit der Zeit erschufen wir ein Link-Verzeichnis speziell für Hundebestitzer, um sich über Osteosarkome und deren Behandlung, tierärztliche Einrichtungen und Organisationen zu informieren.
Eine sehr wichtige Linkliste ist unsere Sammlung onkologischer Fachkliniken für Hunde weltweit. Jeder Link wurde getestet und ist gegenwärtig aktiv.
Unser Ziel war, Hundebesitzer nach Diagnosestellung des OSA bei ihrem Hund bei der schnellen Suche nach Hilfe zu unterstützen.
